"Tied up" - My clothes tie me up to so much culture...take the tie I'm wearing: in most cultures men and boys wear ties as part of the regular office attire or formal wear. The modern tie, "necktie", traces back to the time of the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648) in France when Croatian mercenaries were wearing their traditional small, knotted neckerchiefs. The garment, called a "cravat" at the time, aroused the interest of the Parisians...The most notable one was the boy-king Louis XIV who began wearing a lace "cravat" about 1646, when he was seven. Louis XIV set the fashion for French nobility and started a fashion craze in Europe...so everyday, it takes me about 5 min to pick, tie and untie...that's as if I had spent 2 months of my life to date for whole days continuously tying a knot around my neck...it looks great, I never think about the history of my fashion style...Maybe I should thank that 7 years old boy...The truth is I'd happily give the tie up! I feel more comfortable in a thobe or in a formal Japanese kimono. #shamelessselfie #suitandtie #suit #tie #menswear #menfashion #lookgoodfeelgood #history #origin #kimono #businessman #businesswear #louisxiv #frenchfashion #paris #gcc #wallstreet #londoncity #losangeles #financialfreedom #entrepreneur #entrepreneurlifestyle #lifestyle #heathyliving #fit #workout #motivation #inspiration #hustle #selfie
